Acid Arab is a French electronic music collective formed in 2012 in Paris by DJs Guido Minisky and Hervé Carvalho. The group blends traditional music from North Africa, the Middle East, and Turkey with Western electronic music, creating a unique and vibrant musical style. The collective later expanded with the inclusion of Pierrot Casanova, Nicolas Borne, and keyboardist Kenzi Bourras.
Their sound merges traditional melodies such as raï, dabke, chaâbi, and Turkish folk music with contemporary electronic production. This creates a rich and danceable fusion that appeals to both club-goers and world music enthusiasts.
